With the original Powerbeats Pro recognized for their revolutionary role in health and fitness, expectations for their successor were sky-high. Priced at $249, the Powerbeats Pro 2 retains the original’s price point while introducing several enhancements. The new model continues with the beloved ear hook design but transitions to a more streamlined and contemporary form factor.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 has been reduced in size, now approximately 20% smaller and lighter than its predecessor. This redesign not only makes it visually appealing but also increases comfort for extended wear. Additionally, the charging case has seen a significant reduction, shrinking by about 33%.An exciting update is the enhanced support for Qi wireless charging alongside traditional USB connectivity. However, a standout aspect of this new model is its heart rate monitoring function, which adds value for fitness enthusiasts wanting to track their health metrics during workouts.

Equipped with LED optical sensors, each earbud effectively monitors blood flow, positioning the Powerbeats Pro 2 as a formidable alternative to dedicated fitness wearables.
