Introducing the innovative Shadow II DDR5 series, Colorful elevates performance for Ryzen 9000 systems with a fresh design inspired by its predecessor, the iGame Shadow series. This new line caters to the AM5 platform and offers a range of memory capacities designed to enhance your computing experience.
Colorful Unveils iGame Shadow II DDR5 Series for Ryzen 9000 with Speeds Up to 6400 MT/s and Configurations of Up to 2x 48 GB
Colorful, a well-known name in PC hardware, has launched its second generation of the iGame Shadow series named the iGame Shadow II. This latest installment showcases a redesign of the DDR5 memory heatsinks, while also expanding the lineup to include a wider variety of memory kits. Users can now select configurations that reach a total capacity of 96 GB, providing remarkable flexibility for demanding applications.

Specifically engineered for Ryzen 9000 processors, the Shadow II DDR5 memory is compatible with both Intel and AMD platforms. However, Colorful emphasizes that this memory will unlock the full “gaming”capabilities of AMD’s latest CPU lineup, offering an optimized performance for gaming enthusiasts.
The iGame Shadow II flagship DDR5 memory kits build on the successful foundation of the first-generation iGame Shadow series, engineered specifically for the AMD Ryzen 9000 platform. It supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 technologies. Featuring DDR5-6400 with ultra-low CL28 latency, these kits are designed for effortless plug-and-play performance with pre-configured profiles that unlock the full gaming potential of AMD’s latest desktop CPUs.

The design of the heatsinks over the DDR5 modules draws inspiration from traditional ink-wash painting, an art form that flourished during China’s Tang Dynasty. The striking shadow character adorns the sides of the modules, complemented by integrated RGB LEDs on the heat spreaders to illuminate your custom build. In terms of specifications, five distinct kits are available, offering capacities of 32 GB, 48 GB, 64 GB, and 96 GB, with out-of-the-box speeds reaching up to 6400 MT/s thanks to support for AMD EXPO technology.

With latency as low as CL28 at 6400 MT/s, these modules promise to deliver exceptional gaming performance and can potentially achieve even greater speeds through manual overclocking. Currently, Colorful has launched the CL28 2x 24 GB (48 GB) kit, with plans to roll out additional configurations in the future. Specific pricing and availability details have yet to be announced, leaving enthusiasts eagerly anticipating further updates.
