Cash Jones, widely known as Wack 100, recently issued a cautionary statement aimed at Sean “Diddy”Combs’ sons following their confrontation with Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., during a Halloween event in Los Angeles. On October 29, 2024, the rapper participated in a live stream where he discussed the altercation, even inviting Norwood Jr. to join the dialogue.
During the call, Ray J shared his experience of being “rushed”by a group of eight individuals as he attempted to exit the gathering. Among this group were Diddy’s sons: Justin Combs, Christian “King”Combs, and Quincy Brown. Fortunately, the situation was defused before escalating, thanks to Chris Brown’s intervention.
Although Ray J appeared relatively unfazed by the ordeal, Wack 100, after Ray’s departure from the call, directed a message towards the Combs brothers, stating:
“It’s on… That’s what it’s gon’ be. If we run into you, act like it’s 1995.”
As word of Wack 100’s comments circulated online, social media users quickly voiced their opinions. One commenter expressed:
“Wack 100 is too old to be instigating this situation! Almost feels like he’s clout chasing smh.”
Many users praised Ray J for his composed response to the encounter, labeling it as “reasonable.”Below are some sentiments shared under @theneighborhoodtalk’s post on X:
On the other hand, some commenters criticized the three brothers for engaging in an altercation with Ray, especially in light of the ongoing discussions surrounding their father.
Ray J urged Wack 100 to avoid escalating tensions with Diddy’s children
Throughout the livestream, Ray J was heard imploring Wack 100 not to “put this (their conversation) online,”expressing concern for the youth of Justin Combs, King Combs, and Quincy Brown. When Wack inquired about sharing “the other stuff (they’ve) been knowing about,”Ray firmly requested, “leave them young guys alone.”
Ray explained that he had moved on from the incident, to which Wack responded defiantly, “I’ll f**k them N**gas.”He justified his reaction by emphasizing that the confrontation involved a group of eight individuals, not just one person.
Others in the livestream urged Wack to de-escalate, highlighting that Diddy’s family is currently facing difficulties.
The reactions from Justin Combs, King Combs, and Quincy Brown come after Ray J’s recent statements on his show, The Reality Check News. In the inaugural episode, aired on October 9, he addressed his dynamic with Diddy and commented on the ongoing controversy surrounding the iconic music figure.
Diddy was taken into custody in September due to allegations of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. This arrest followed a federal probe prompted by multiple lawsuits alleging r*pe and assault, including a case from his former partner, Cassie Ventura.
On his show, Ray J expressed his disillusionment with Diddy and other stakeholders in the industry who exploit young entrepreneurs.
“I’m exhausted with the people in this industry that have power who are abusing the power. I can say a lot of names… I won’t today but I will soon,”he declared.
He also criticized the jokes and memes circulating on social media regarding the Diddy scandal, stating that they trivialized the pain of the victims involved.
As of now, Combs’ children have yet to make any public statements regarding these developments. Meanwhile, the rapper remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting a trial scheduled for next May.
