In light of earlier speculation regarding Intel’s potential exit from the discrete GPU arena following the launch of the Arc Alchemist GPU, the company has made a remarkable comeback with its Battlemage architecture. During Intel’s CES 2025 keynote, interim co-CEO Michelle Johnston Holthaus assured stakeholders that Intel would persist in its efforts within the discrete GPU space.
