This announcement was made during Computex 2025, where Intel showcased its ambitions in the graphics market with the introduction of the Arc Battlemage series. Key highlights include two new GPUs aimed at enhancing performance in graphics workstations, inference tasks, and edge computing applications.

Intel Arc Pro B60 – Maximized Performance with 24 GB VRAM

The standout in the new lineup is the Arc Pro B60, which comes equipped with the complete BMG-G21 GPU die, featuring 20 second-generation Xe cores and 160 XMX engines. This graphics powerhouse delivers an impressive peak compute output of 197 TOPS (INT8) and operates within a total board power (TBP) range of 120W to 200W, interfacing through a Gen5 x8 PCIe link. While its peak TOPS performance falls slightly short (around 15.5%) compared to the gaming-optimized Arc B580, it excels in professional tasks.

On the memory front, the Arc Pro B60 boasts 24 GB of VRAM across a 192-bit bus interface, providing a total bandwidth of 456 GB/s—effectively double the memory capacity of the previous generation Arc B580. Performance comparisons against competitors like the RTX 5060 Ti reveal the B60 potentially achieving up to 2.7 times the efficiency in various AI models, especially when challenged with larger language models (LLMs).

Each card will independently feature 24 GB of VRAM, resulting in a combined memory capacity of 48 GB per graphics card. When utilized in tandem, this setup could total 192 GB of VRAM across 8 BMG-G21 GPUs, harnessing 1280 XMX engines and optimized for PCIe Gen5 connections on Xeon platforms.

It features 16 Xe cores and 128 XMX Engines, providing a maximum of 170 peak TOPS (INT8) performance. With a TBP of only 70W and a PCIe Gen5 x8 interface, it promises impressive energy efficiency.

Furthermore, the B50 carries 16 GB of VRAM on a 128-bit bus interface, offering 224.0 GB/s bandwidth. Its compact and dual-slot design makes it an excellent fit for various setups, and it is ready for both Linux and Windows environments, with ISV-certified drivers available.

Intel highlights the Arc Pro B50’s remarkable pricing, set at an MSRP of $299, presenting a substantial improvement over previous models. Benchmarks illustrate its strong performance against the A50 and NVIDIA’s RTX A1000, often outclassing both in graphics and inference workloads.
