Intel AI Summit 2025: Key Insights on Next-Generation GPU Lineup

At the recently conducted Intel AI Summit 2025 in Seoul, Intel made significant announcements regarding its upcoming GPU offerings. The tech giant revealed plans for enhancements within the Arc and Gaudí product families, anticipated to debut later this year.

Unveiling the Arc Family

Among the highlights was the introduction of Intel’s Arc product series, which currently encompasses the Battlemage architecture-powered Arc B series and the Arc Pro B series. Key products include the B580, B570, PRO B60, and PRO B50, specifically designed for graphics and inference in workstation environments. These Arc Pro GPUs were first presented during Computex 2025 and are expected to reach initial customers shortly.

Future Plans for Edge AI Products

Intel has ambitious plans for new Arc products that will target Edge AI applications. The launch is projected for Q4 2025, although specific details remain sparse. These forthcoming Arc GPUs may feature the much-anticipated “Big”Battlemage chip, potentially referred to as the BMG-G31, which has been in the spotlight for some time.

There is speculation that the timing of this release might coincide with announcements of gaming-related products utilizing the same chip. This speculation comes from a growing excitement surrounding Intel’s potential innovations in gaming hardware.

Technological Advancements and Future Servers

The upcoming GPUs will utilize cutting-edge 18A process technology, which incorporates innovations such as RibbonFET and Backside Power delivery for heightened efficiency and improved transistor density. Additionally, the new Jaguar Shores architecture is set to succeed Falcon Shores—a previously planned multi-domain product that merged x86 CPUs and GPUs, which was ultimately scrapped along with its successor, Rialto Ridge.

These advanced server solutions are slated for release next year, coinciding with NVIDIA’s launch of its Rubin platform and AMD’s introduction of its MI400 GPU AI systems.
