Intel Demonstrates Arc A750 GPU Performance in Five Games

A few weeks ago, Intel posted a video showing the first tests of the Arc Alchemist A750 graphics card. For reasons unknown to us, this video has since been privatized and a new video has been posted in its place. In the new video, we see different gameplay footage from the original, but the performance claims seem to be the same.

In a new video showing the performance of the Intel Arc A750, Intel Head of Graphic Marketing Ryan Schrout discusses the graphics card with Tom Petersen. Another change this time around is that Control gameplay is shown and Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay is removed, although the performance slide shown in the video still includes Cyberpunk 2077.

The Intel Arc A750 is one of two upcoming desktop graphics cards slated for release this summer. The A750 is positioned as a competitor to the RTX 3060 while delivering better performance in some games. According to the Intel performance graph you can see below, the A750 Limited Edition can outperform the RTX 3060 by 17 percent in five games including F1 2021, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Borderlands 3 and Fortnite.

At the start of the video, Peterson indicates that the A750 will deliver performance per dollar, but Intel is not currently sharing specific pricing information. The main test included in the video shows the Control running at 1440p with high graphics preset and ray tracing disabled. The GPU can support frame rates above 60fps in the clip shown, and according to the Intel chart, the A750 outperforms the RTX 3060 by 14% in control mode.

While the previous video has been removed and replaced with this one, it looks like Intel is planning to make more of these ahead of launch. At this time, Intel is still planning to release the first Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards “this summer”, so expect more information soon.
