The Panther Lake budget platform has recently been showcased on Geekbench, revealing impressive capabilities of its integrated GPU (iGPU).Notably, its performance is comparable to the AMD Radeon 880M.
Intel Core Ultra 5 338H Panther Lake CPU Features Arc B370 iGPU; Achieves 39, 406 Points in Geekbench Vulkan Test
As the launch date for Intel’s Panther Lake processors approaches in the coming months, benchmark leaks are becoming increasingly frequent. The latest data comes from the Intel Core Ultra 5 338H, identified as one of the more entry-level models in the PTL-H series. Benchmark results from Geekbench provide confirmation of its specifications. The Ultra 5 338H comprises two core clusters, specifically designed with a 4+8 core configuration, ultimately offering a total of 12 cores.

Breaking down the architecture, the Ultra 5 338H includes 4 Performance (P) cores, 4 Efficient (E) cores, and an additional 4 Low-Power Efficient (LP-E) cores. Clock speeds are recorded at a base of 1.90 GHz, with boost capabilities nearing 3.7 GHz—figures notably lower than those seen in the Core Ultra X7 358H, which reportedly reached 4.8 GHz. This discrepancy hints that the current information on clock speeds may warrant further verification. The cache specifications detail a setup with 3 MB of L2 and 18 MB of L3 cache.
Perhaps the most compelling aspect of the Ultra 5 338H is its integrated graphics. The processor is expected to feature 10 Xe3 GPU cores, branded as “Arc B370.”Interestingly, during previous leaks regarding the Core Ultra X7 358H, details about its iGPU model were not disclosed. The latest Geekbench Vulkan test results showed the Arc B370 achieving a score of 39, 406 points, placing its performance level on par with the AMD Radeon 880M, utilized in the AMD Strix Point APU—the Ryzen AI 9 365, which employs RDNA 3.5 architecture for its iGPU.
It’s important to note that results on Geekbench may fluctuate significantly from test to test; nevertheless, the insights seem to promise a solid performance from the integrated graphics on Panther Lake processors. In prior assessments, the 12 Xe3 cores featured in the Core Ultra X7 358H managed to compete with the RTX 3050 laptop GPU, even eclipsing the Radeon 890M in Geekbench OpenCL testing. Thus, the Arc B370 should at least meet, if not surpass, the performance metrics of the Radeon 880M.
