Intel Arrow Lake CPU Gets Core Ultra 200 Branding, Raptor Lake-H Refresh Gets Core 200H

Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake-H Refresh mobile CPUs will be marketed as the Core Ultra 200 and Core 200H respectively.

Introducing Intel Core Ultra 200 and Core 200H Branding for Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake-H Refresh CPUs

According to the reliable leaker, Golden Pig Upgrade, the information reveals details about the branding of the upcoming Intel Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake-H Refresh CPUs. This will mark the third release of the Raptor Lake series for laptops, as well as its second refresh.

As for branding, the Intel Arrow Lake CPUs will fall under the Core Ultra 200 series, encompassing both H and U WeUs. This means that chip names like Core Ultra 9 2XXH and Core Ultra 7 2XXU can be expected. The Raptor Lake-H Refresh will likely have Non-Ultra WeUs, which will carry the Core 200H branding. There is no mention of a Raptor Lake-U Refresh series, and it is probable that Intel will reserve some Meteor Lake WeUs for the entry-level market, while its Arrow Lake CPUs cater to the high-end market.

The reason for refreshing Raptor Lake-H for a second time is primarily due to its price. The Raptor Lake-H chips are expected to provide better value in the high-end gaming market, while Arrow Lake-H and Arrow Lake-HX will be utilized in more costly designs and paired with the latest hardware currently available.

In regards to our understanding of Arrow Lake mobility CPUs, they will be available in three variations: HX, H, and U. The Arrow Lake-H CPUs have already been observed with a combination of 6 Lion Cove P-Cores and 8 Skymont E-Cores in their configurations.

The iGPU will be based on the Xe-LPG “Alchemist”GPU architecture, with certain WeUs adopting the newer and refined Alchemist+ “Xe-LPG+”architecture. The high-end Arrow Lake-HX CPUs will utilize the same dies as the desktop WeUs, which were recently seen with up to 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores. Additionally, the Raptor Lake-H Refresh “Core 200H”CPUs will include up to 6 P-Cores based on the Raptor Cove architecture and 8 E-Cores based on the Gracemont core architecture.

Intel Adds Support For Next-Gen Arrow Lake & Lunar Lake CPUs In Linux 1

The Intel Arrow Lake “Core Ultra 200″and Raptor Lake-H Refresh “Core 200H”mobility CPUs are expected to be available by the end of this year or early 2025. The Lunar Lake-MX CPUs will also be included in the Intel Core Ultra 200 lineup, although their branding has not yet been confirmed. Additionally, AMD’s lineup will consist of a combination of older architectures and newer Strix Point chips.
