Completing the “Informed Means Armed”Quest in Escape from Tarkov

Upon finishing the Setup mission in Escape from Tarkov, you will encounter the “Informed Means Armed”quest. While Setup can be a grueling initiation at the start of a wipe, this subsequent mission is much more manageable. The primary objective involves visiting three different maps to strategically install Wi-Fi Cameras in specific locations.

Your Guide to “Informed Means Armed”

This mission consists of three key tasks:

Install a Wi-Fi Camera at the Sawmill dock in Woods.
Install a Wi-Fi Camera on the Road to Port in Customs.
Install a Wi-Fi Camera at the Kiba Arms store in Interchange.

1. Sawmill Dock Camera Installation

Begin your quest by jumping into a Woods raid. Make your way to the Sawmill, keeping an eye out for Shturman, who may spawn nearby. Upon reaching the Sawmill, head towards the shoreline to locate the dock, which is also referenced in the Gratitude task from Ragman.

Just before you reach the dock, you will notice a stack of wooden planks. This is where you must plant your first Wi-Fi Camera. Note that the installation process takes about 20 seconds, during which you must remain stationary to ensure success.

2. Road to Port Camera Installation

Your next destination is the Customs area. Here, locate the storage containers situated between Smuggler’s Boat extraction and Ambush Hill. If your spawn point is near the Smuggler’s Boat extraction, move upward and cross the road toward the blue container.

To the left of this container, a small bush conceals the spot you need for planting the second Wi-Fi Camera. Complete this planting task to finish this objective.

3. Kiba Arms Store Camera Installation

In your final task, enter an Interchange raid and navigate to the ULTRA Mall. Once inside, approach the Kiba Arms store, which is directly across from the Brutal store.

Inside the Brutal store, find a small wooden ramp that overlooks the entrance to Kiba. Ascend the ramp and you will be prompted to plant your last Wi-Fi Camera. Hold the interaction button until the installation is complete, marking the end of your quest.
