Fans of Infinity Nikki recently received exciting news after reaching out to the support team regarding the beloved character Giovanni. The response confirmed that Giovanni will be making a return in an upcoming storyline. Though player opinions about the overarching narrative of Infinity Nikki vary, many have commended the writers for their character development, especially with NPCs like Giovanni, Raggy, Aderinna, and the Banshee. Significantly, Marques Jr.had a prominent role during the Carnival of Fireworks, further enriching the game’s narrative landscape.
Giovanni, also known as Griffith Cicchetto, stands out among the characters in Infinity Nikki. His backstory is marked by complexity and depth—this Stylist hails from Stoneville and endured fifteen years of captivity at the hands of the Faewish Sprite Paladins, separated from his ailing grandfather. Giovanni’s pivotal role in the story emerged when he utilized the Aureum Vase to summon Nikki into Miraland, seeking power to combat Chigda, the corrupt lord representing the seven deadly sins.
Curious players have also sought answers regarding Giovanni’s recent absence from the game. One player, Present_Bend_3994, inquired with support about why Giovanni is no longer present in his usual location following the conclusion of Chapter 8. While other NPCs remained available throughout the game world, Giovanni’s departure to the now-empty Cicchetto Manor prompted questions. The support team clarified that his absence is purposeful, assuring fans that Giovanni will reappear in a future update.
Infinity Nikki: Anticipating Giovanni’s Return

Giovanni is anticipated to return as early as Update 1.3, which could also introduce a housing feature to Infinity Nikki. As a character from the Wishfield region, the developers are likely to prioritize Giovanni’s storyline before venturing into new territories. If his return does not coincide with Update 1.3, many speculate that he will reappear before summer 2025, particularly given the game’s rapid update schedule.
While waiting for Update 1.3, players can immerse themselves in the latest content, including an exciting new zone related to Florawish. Similar to the expansive open world in the base game, this area allows players to explore, complete puzzles, and collect items such as Dews of Firework and Whim Balloons on the Firework Isles. Update 1.2 is set to remain active until late February 2025 and is expected to introduce a new set of 4-Star banners during the latter half of the patch.
