Among the delightful items available in the game are Gogglebugs, which can be discovered fairly early in your adventure. Specifically, you can find them shortly after entering the enchanting realm of Florawish during Chapter 1 of the main storyline. It’s important to note that Gogglebugs are unique to Florawish and won’t be spotted elsewhere in Wishfield.
How to Locate Gogglebugs in Infinity Nikki
To catch these whimsical bugs, journey to the waterfront areas near Silken Lake within Florawish. Here, you’ll want to focus on the lilypads scattered across the water’s surface. If you observe closely, you’ll see the Gogglebugs gliding gracefully around these lilypads. To capture them, equip your Afternoon Shine outfit (or any fashionable alternative like Forest’s Fluttering) from your ability wheel.
Once you are ready, position yourself on a lilypad and wait for a Gogglebug to swim close. When the opportunity arises, use your net to catch it, which will also grant you some Bug-Catching Insight. It’s noteworthy that while other bugs in the vicinity, such as Sockos and Chimecadas, also yield Essence upon capture, Gogglebugs do not. However, if you enhance your abilities by unlocking the specific node in the Heart of Infinity Grid—found on the initial Bug-Catching Insight branch—you can earn bonus Insight, aiding in your progression through the game.
After successfully catching your first Gogglebug, the in-game map feature becomes incredibly helpful. Open your Map and select the book icon in the bottom left corner. Then click on the bug icon tab and choose the Gogglebug option located in the second row. This action will highlight the nearest Gogglebug locations with an orange circle.
Furthermore, capturing at least 50 Gogglebugs allows you to upgrade your tracker to Precise Tracking. This enhancement provides a comprehensive overview of all Gogglebug locations across the entire map, making the collection process more efficient. Utilizing this tracking feature is highly advisable for locating essential crafting materials scattered throughout the diverse landscapes of Wishfield.

Daily use of Dig, Pear-Pal for gathering necessary items can significantly diminish the time players spend searching for crafting materials traditionally.
If you find yourself in need of Gogglebugs and prefer a more straightforward approach, you can purchase them through the ‘Resonance’ tab in the in-game store. Each Gogglebug costs 4 x Tranquility Droplets, which are obtained from duplicates of 4-Star or lower outfit pieces through game pulls or from the Surprise-o-Matic machine in Florawish. You can acquire a monthly maximum of 30 x Gogglebugs from the store; therefore, strategic spending is encouraged.
