Among these resources, Crown Fluff stands out as a rare blue-tier item that can only be sourced from the distant lands of Wishfield. If you’re eager to add this coveted item to your collection, understanding where to locate it is crucial.
Acquiring Crown Fluff in Infinity Nikki
Crown Fluff is a distinctive crafting material that resides exclusively in the Wishing Woods, a region teeming with Faewish Sprites. To gain access to this magical locale, players must advance through the main storyline, specifically achieving Chapter 6 and completing its missions. This progression unlocks the pathway to the Wishing Woods.
Once you’ve successfully navigated to the Wishing Woods, your next adventure involves exploring the south and east regions near the Grand Tree. Here, you’ll encounter the majestic Crowndeer, typically spotted in small herds alongside Wreathdoes, which are known for yielding Wreath Fluff.
When you spot a Crowndeer, equip your Bye-Bye Dust grooming outfit (or any stylish alternative) and approach cautiously. Once the blue brush icon appears, engage in grooming with Nikki to collect 1 x Crown Fluff.
For those who have unlocked relevant nodes on the Heart of Infinity Grid, not only can you boost the amount of Crown Fluff received, but you can also acquire Crown Fluff Essence, crucial for crafting the Silvergale’s Aria Miracle Outfit.
To unlock these advantageous nodes, you’ll need to achieve a Grooming Insight stat of at least 18,000 for the Crown Fluff Essence node. Additionally, a stat of 25,000 grants access to increased Crown Fluff rewards. While accumulating such stats may seem daunting, it is achievable through steady contributions of Vital Energy in the Realm of Nourishment.
Bear in mind, Crowndeers are relatively uncommon within the confines of Infinity Nikki, particularly in the Wishing Woods. Typically, you will find only one amidst a gathering of Wreathdoes, and these herds are restricted to select areas adjacent to the Grand Tree and beyond. Use the in-game Map for assistance; click the book icon at the bottom left of the screen to access your Collections menu, scroll to find the Crown Fluff entry, and select it.
By pressing the ‘Track’ button, you’ll reveal the nearest Crowndeer location within the Wishing Woods, marked as an orange circle on your map. After grooming one Crowndeer, new locations will automatically appear on your map. Don’t forget to groom Wreathdoes too, as their Wreath Fluff is vital for crafting numerous high-tier outfits in the game.
The ‘Precise Tracking’ feature for Crowndeer can take time to unlock. Meanwhile, refer to the map above, which outlines currently known Crowndeer nodes in the Wishing Woods. Note that grooming nodes reset approximately every 24 hours after being groomed (with the forthcoming V.1.2 update changing this to a server reset time), necessitating a waiting period before you can collect more Crown Fluff.
For those in urgent need, Crown Fluff is also available for purchase using Surging Ebb from Infinity Nikki’s in-game shop. However, acquiring Surging Ebb is only feasible by rolling rare duplicate 5-star clothing items, making this route less preferable. Nonetheless, it remains an option if you’re in dire need.
Lastly, while exploring the Wishing Woods, consider taking on the nearby Sovereign of Fresh for the chance to collect the esteemed Fresh Medal and one of the game’s rare crafting items.
