The ability to disguise Indy as his adversaries in Indiana Jones & The Great Circle introduces a compelling mechanic reminiscent of the Hitman series, making it a standout feature of the game. This element not only enriches the game’s immersive experience but also grants players exceptional control over every aspect of the character’s journey.
For instance, acquiring a Nazi uniform allows Indy to traverse otherwise restricted areas, from clandestine Nazi boxing rings to intricate trenches, all in pursuit of the Wehrmacht key. This guide will walk you through the steps to secure this essential uniform and the Wehrmacht key during the “Gizeh” chapter.
Steps to Acquire the Nazi Uniform & Wehrmacht Key
Here’s how you can obtain the Nazi Wehrmacht uniform:
- First, reach the Nazi Compound after completing the Idol of Ra mission.
- Once in Gizeh, head north to the Temple Excavation Site.
- Proceed left towards Gizeh village until you locate a guard tower adjacent to the train tracks (refer to the map for guidance).
- Note that the guard tower is locked. To bypass this obstacle the “Indy way,”navigate behind the Watchtower, whip out Indy’s whip, and scale the tower.
- Once inside, defeat the enemies and descend to collect your neatly folded Wehrmacht uniform.
- In addition to the uniform, you’ll find the Wehrmacht key and a P08 Luger pistol, as well as a hidden 50 Lira in the drawer.
Utilizing the Nazi Uniform and Wehrmacht Key
Wearing the uniform allows Indy to blend in with guards and Nazi operatives, providing access to restricted military zones marked in red on the map. Key locations include:
- Khentkawes I Excavation Site
- Nazi Vehicle Garage
- Nazi Compound
This disguise is particularly useful at the Khentkawes Excavation site, facilitating the completion of the Indiana Jones Secret of the Queen Mother fieldwork. Additionally, it grants access to the underground boxing ring.
However, remaining in close proximity to Nazi captains for too long can still result in exposure. Keep your wits about you, Dr. Jones!
The Wehrmacht Key is also invaluable as it unlocks doors with yellow warning signs including those leading to the Nazi Vehicle Garage and Compound. For players drawn to supernatural mysteries, the combination of the uniform and key can unlock enigmatic quests, such as The Haunted Mystery, which align well with the franchise’s paranormal themes.
Gaining Access to the Underground Fight Club
Entering the Knuckle Duster Den involves facing off against Nazis eager for combat. Here, not only can you earn cash by defeating enemies, but you can also collect adventure books that enhance your gameplay experience.
To access this Underground Fight Club, navigate to the northeastern part of Gizeh village, where you acquired the Nazi disguise. It’s essential to wear the uniform when approaching the building that locals have noted with suspicion.
When Indy knocks on the imposing metal door, a guard will inspect him through a small opening; if you’re in uniform, you will be granted entry. Otherwise, expect to be turned away with the remark, “No outsiders allowed.”
Inside the Knuckle Duster Den, a central arena awaits, showcasing challengers ready to take on Indy. Players face three Nazi soldiers in sequential fistfights to win Liras:
- The first-round victory nets Indy 75 Liras,
- The second round yields 150 Liras,
- And the final bout awards a remarkable 300 Liras.
As the stakes rise, so does the challenge. During my initial playthrough, I encountered a steep learning curve, notably being knocked out in the second round without utilizing any pre-fight consumables. Players should prepare accordingly; luckily, you can find food and an infinite bandage dispenser in the back for recovering between bouts.
Upon defeating all three opponents, you will earn 150 adventure points, the coveted title of Champion of Knuckle Duster Den, and the opportunity to spend your earnings on exclusive adventure books available within the Den.
