Upon the start of the Miami Dolphins’ offseason workout program on April 15, Braxton Berrios will reunite with the team. In the meantime, he has been enjoying quality time with his girlfriend, Alix Earle, who is a social media influencer.
Berrios and Earle, along with her family, marked Easter by spending it on a boat in the British Virgin Islands. Berrios took to Instagram stories to share some snapshots of their vacation. In one photo, both of them can be seen donning bunny ears. The caption given by the Dolphins’ wide receiver/return specialist was:
“The pandas are now bunnies”
In addition, Berrios’ second photo featured the Easter-themed decorations that they had created on the boat.
During their boat ride, Alix Earle shared various activities on Instagram. Along with taking photos in a green swimsuit, she also posted videos of her nieces and nephews playing Easter-themed games.
The Easter egg hunt, in which the children eagerly took part, was an essential part of the celebration and could not be left out.
In the previous month, Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios both participated in Miami Music Week. Additionally, they both had the opportunity to view a Los Angeles Lakers-Atlanta Hawks game from courtside. In the meantime, Alix also made an appearance at the Balmain Fashion Show during the Paris Fashion Week in the beginning of March.
Earle remains Berrios’ top advocate, expressing the same level of enthusiasm when he recently agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract renewal with the Miami Dolphins.
Braxton Berrios will shine alongside other stars on the Dolphins offense
Despite recording 238 receiving yards and a touchdown in the previous season, the Dolphins have designated him as their primary return specialist. He has demonstrated his exceptional abilities in this role, accumulating 235 yards on 23 punt returns and 441 yards on 18 kickoff returns. His exceptional performance has earned him the prestigious 2021 First Team All-Pro title, solidifying his place as one of the top returners in the league.
Braxton Berrios has the potential to make a significant impact on special teams, but he will need to adapt to the NFL’s new kickoff rules. The league’s owners have approved a new rule that limits the movement of blockers on the receiving team until returners, like Berrios, have touched the ball. This means that Berrios will need to find ways to use this new rule to his advantage.
Berrios has the potential to place the Dolphins’ offense in a beneficial position with strong blocking. This is a daunting prospect for rival defenses, given the presence of talented wide receivers such as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Additionally, the team boasts a talented group of running backs including Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane under the guidance of Mike McDaniel.
Braxton Berrios and the Dolphins finished second in total yards (401.3) and passing yards (265.5) per game last season. They also ranked sixth in points (29.2) and rushing yards (135.8) per game in 2023.
