[Snap Layouts]

  • We’re experimenting with enhancements aimed at optimizing the application suggestions for snap layouts. Feel free to test snapping various apps and share your feedback on any noticeable improvements in suggestions.

[Narrator]

  • A new shortcut, “Narrator key + Control + X,”has been implemented, allowing you to copy the last spoken text from Narrator directly to your clipboard. This follows the existing “Narrator key + X”shortcut, which repeats the last output aloud, making it easier to remember similar shortcuts. Users can utilize these shortcuts for quickly reviewing or copying content, such as descriptions and numeric codes.
  • Narrator will now automatically read the content of emails in the new Outlook app, mirroring the functionality of the classic Outlook version.

[File Explorer]

  • We have resolved an issue where the File Explorer search box would extend beyond the window edge.

[Narrator]

  • The performance of Narrator has been improved to prevent slowdowns after prolonged use (15 minutes or more) within a single application.
  • Fixed a problem where Narrator would incorrectly announce “contains style”when focusing on styled text, such as bullets or numbered lists, across various applications including Microsoft Edge, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Addressed an issue affecting some Narrator dialogs, ensuring they adhere to the 200% text scaling setting in Windows.
