Enhanced PC Performance for Monster Hunter Wilds
Exciting improvements are on the horizon for Monster Hunter Wilds as its release approaches. According to recent announcements, players can look forward to enhanced performance on PC compared to the open beta. This means a more refined gaming experience while utilizing the same hardware setup used during the beta phase.
Insights from the Pre-Launch Community Update
In a recent Pre-Launch Community Update stream, game director Yuya Tokuda shared that while precise details on the performance improvements are currently limited, the team has confirmed a notable enhancement over the beta version. This sets player expectations for an overall better experience once the game officially launches.
Console Improvements and Features
The update also brought exciting news for console gamers. A day-one patch will be available for the PlayStation 5 Pro, introducing various enhancements that have yet to be detailed. For those using the base PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the Prioritize Graphics mode aims for a 2160p output resolution, scaled from an internal resolution of 3072×1728, running at 30 FPS. Conversely, the Prioritize Framerate mode will deliver 2160p output upscaled from 1080p at 60 FPS. Interestingly, the Xbox Series X will maintain a single display mode targeting 1080p resolution with 30 FPS gameplay. Notably, the game will employ AMD FSR technology for resolution upscaling rather than the checkerboard rendering utilized in the beta.
Additional Changes in the Final Version
The Pre-Launch Community Update also hinted at a variety of other enhancements. Fans can anticipate weapon-specific adjustments, the return of hitstop mechanics, and a host of other refinements in the final version of Monster Hunter Wilds compared to the test edition.
