Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, also known as ‘Left Meteorite’, from Thailand, is confident that his age will give him an edge over the renowned Muay Thai fighter and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, Nong-O Hama, in their upcoming match in the ONE Championship this Friday.
The upcoming event, ONE Friday Fights 58: Superbon vs. Grigorian II, will feature a highly anticipated Muay Thai battle between a 25-year-old and a 37-year-old veteran. Viewers can tune in live to watch the event, taking place at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
During a recent interview with ONE Championship, Kulabdam expressed his belief that his youthfulness will lead him to triumph over the more seasoned Nong-O.
‘Meteorite on the left’ stated:
“I think my advantage over him is that I’m younger. In preparation for him, I still practice according to the same program, but I’ve increased the intensity of training.”
Despite Kulabdam’s talent, it would be wise for him to not underestimate his legendary opponent. Nong-O is considered the best in ‘the art of eight limbs’ and has dominated the bantamweight division for years without any competition.
