Jang Tae-yoo has made a name for himself with successful SBS dramas such as The Painter of Wind (2008) and Deep-Rooted Tree (2011). He gained international fame for directing My Love from the Star (2013), which contributed to the global popularity of Korean dramas.
His directing talents extend across both contemporary and historical genres, with notable credits including Hyena (2020) and Lovers of the Red Sky (2021). His recent drama Knight Flower (2024) aired earlier this year, achieving impressive viewership ratings, peaking at 18.4%.
