“I’m not going to talk too much” – ‘Sharp’ Marat Grigorian would rather let his actions do the talking in Superbon redo

Marat Grigorian, the renowned Armenian kickboxing sensation, is set to battle his former opponent, former ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon Singha Mawynn, at ONE Friday Fights 58 on April 5.

The two striking specialists previously faced off at ONE X in 2022, with Marat Grigorian coming up short against the reigning world champion. They are now set to battle it out once more, this time for the interim title in their division.

During his interview with Sportsmanor on YouTube, Grigorian was hesitant to reveal his plans for his upcoming bout and only provided a few brief statements.

“I trained so hard and I’m really sharp. I’m not going to talk too much, I’m not going to say too much. I just want to show everyone.”

Maarat Grigorian is wise in choosing to let his actions speak for him, as they have more impact than any words could.

Superbon promises to defeat Marat Grigorian: “I will emerge victorious”

Despite Grigorian remaining quiet leading up to their rematch, Superbon is being very vocal about his opponent. In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post on YouTube, the former world champion confidently stated what he plans to do to his rival on the night of the fight:

The difference between me Marat is, I have more weapons. Marat only throws punches. I have low kicks, I have punches, I have knees, I have good push kicks. And if he showed me his weakness, I’m gonna k*ll him.

Despite the importance of having confidence before a fight to focus and prepare, having too much or too little can have disastrous consequences. The outcome of the fight will only be revealed on the night of the event.
