“Illuminati Connections?” – Dr. Umar Johnson on Diddy’s Arrest Linked to Diageo Retaliation

Dr. Umar Johnson recently shared his thoughts on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest and federal indictment during an interview with The Art of Dialogue, released on September 26. The psychologist and motivational speaker emphasized that if Diddy is found “guilty” and the prosecution proves it “beyond a shadow of a doubt,” the controversial rapper must face justice. He asserted, “Like anyone else, if you do the crime, you should do the time.”

During the discussion, Dr. Johnson suggested that Diddy’s arrest was retaliation from the British multinational alcoholic beverage company and brand builder Diageo, which was responsible for marketing his DeLeon tequila brand. He explained that Sean Combs filed a lawsuit against Diageo last year, accusing the company of underpromoting and neglecting his brand, allegedly marketing it only to “Black people” and “discouraging White people and non-Blacks” from purchasing his liquor.

According to Variety, Diageo settled with Diddy out of court in January 2024.

“Watch this timeline. He sues Diageo in the spring. Cassie comes out in the fall. He settles with Cassie in 24 hours. Diageo is watching this. So, when Diageo tries to settle with Puffy outside of court, they did this knowing fully well, we ‘bout to go after you and destroy you. You’re messing with the Illuminati,” Dr. Umar Johnson asserted.

The Black activist also stated that nobody could “convince” him that the conflict with Diageo and the raids on Sean Combs’ residences in March were unrelated.

Examining Umar Johnson’s claims about Diddy and Diageo

During his recent half-hour conversation with The Art of Dialogue, Dr. Umar Johnson expressed his views on Sean Combs’ ongoing legal issues.

He noted that Diddy had an “agreement” with Diageo to promote and build his DeLeon tequila brand. However, the company reportedly marketed it as a “hip-hop” liquor, which allegedly upset the Love Album creator.

Johnson asserted that Diddy aimed to sell his product globally, yet Diageo was seemingly restricting it to the African-American market, thus impeding wider sales. He further claimed that Diddy accused Diageo of deliberately “cutting my sales low” to prevent DeLeon from “outselling the European-controlled brands.”

“Puffy accused Diageo of racial discrimination in advertising and marketing. Diageo got upset with Puff. British-based company, they said, ‘You already made billion dollars off of us. How dare you sue us and try to make a few more billions?’” Dr. Johnson added.

The self-proclaimed pan-Africanist also commented that after Diddy filed a lawsuit against Diageo in spring 2023, his former girlfriend, R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, sued him in November of the same year. Umar Johnson suggested that during this period, Diageo uncovered Combs’ alleged criminal activities, leading them to settle outside of court in January 2024. Johnson claimed that this resulted in raids at Combs’ residences in March 2024, arguing that Diageo orchestrated a settlement while ensuring that Diddy’s homes were raided shortly afterward. It’s essential to highlight that these claims are speculative.

“There’s no way you’re gonna convince me that company, that powerful… Diageo operates in 180 out of 194 countries in the world… You’re not going to convince me that one plus one does not equal two. There’s no way they were forced to settle with Puffy in January, and less than two months later, his homes are raided,” the 50-year-old author claimed.

The Philadelphia-based psychologist asserted that by suing Diageo for racial bias, Diddy “messed” with the Illuminati. He also pointed out that Diddy showcased his vulnerabilities to the public when he quickly settled with Cassie, indicating that “he has skeletons in his closet.”

Furthermore, Dr. Johnson proposed that Diageo didn’t even leave the negotiation room after settling with Diddy. Instead, their officials allegedly contacted British monarch King Charles III and requested him to speak to U.S. President Joe Biden on their behalf. Umar suggested that Diageo intended for Diddy to “pay the consequences” for challenging the “big boys,” adding that Sean Combs couldn’t dictate terms to “White people” while thinking he could get away with “robbing” them out of billions.

For those unfamiliar, Sean Combs partnered with Diageo to market Ciroc vodka in 2007 and later jointly acquired DeLeon tequila in 2013. However, in May 2023, Diddy accused the company of failing to properly endorse his product “because he is Black” and subsequently filed a lawsuit. In January 2024, the case was settled out of court, with Puffy withdrawing all accusations against Diageo and voluntarily dismissing his lawsuit “with prejudice.” Since then, both parties have ended their business relationship, with Diageo now fully owning DeLeon.

Dr. Umar Johnson labels Diddy a “distraction” during election season

Earlier this week, Dr. Umar Johnson took to social media to express skepticism regarding the timing of Sean Combs’ arrest and indictment. He directed questions at the Black community, asking if they recognized the implications of “Puff Daddy during election season.”

He claimed it was a tactic employed by “white people” and those in power within politics to “distract” the community from the “laws,” “policies,” and “initiatives” being enacted.

“This is a distraction because they know Black people love to see Black people disgraced, humiliated, and destroyed. They said, ‘Throw them one of their own…’ to send all the Black people over here while we take care of business over here,” Umar asserted.

Dr. Johnson suggested that Sean Combs is being set up for something “really, really big” while the community becomes engrossed in “gossip” surrounding the New York rapper on social media.

He indicated that neither Kamala Harris nor Donald Trump genuinely have the best interests of the Black community in mind and are instead focused on thwarting the “Black political movement” ahead of the forthcoming presidential elections.
