Ice Cube’s son gets blunt on Drake vs Kendrick Lamar beef after LeBron James’ ‘Like That’ rap goes viral

Throughout his time in the NBA, LeBron James has been known for his love of hip-hop music. A recent pre-game video of him singing caught the attention of a celebrity, who then commented on a current feud within the music industry.

As the LA Lakers were getting ready for their game against the Brooklyn Nets, LeBron was seen rapping along to Kendrick Lamar. Currently, there is tension between the California-based rapper and well-known NBA superfan Drake.

Upon viewing this video, O’Shea Jackson Jr., son of Ice Cube, felt compelled to express his thoughts. He believes that Drake is now obligated to respond to Kendrick, as LeBron James has been seen singing his songs.

On Sunday, LeBron delivered a standout performance against the Nets. As a 20-time All-Star, he scored 40 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out five assists. His dominant display helped lead the Lakers to a 116-104 victory over Brooklyn.

With the regular season coming to a close, each match holds significant weight for LA. Sitting in ninth place in the standings, LeBron and his team are determined to move up in the ranks and avoid the play-in tournament.

The Longstanding Friendship Between Drake and LeBron James

O’Shea Jackson stated that Drake is now obligated to respond to Kendrick Lamar due to the singer of the song. Throughout the years, the Toronto Raptors superfan and LeBron James have developed a strong friendship.

Despite being two of the biggest names in their industry, Drake and LeBron have developed a strong relationship. Drake can often be seen courtside at games, while LeBron consistently shows his support for Drake’s music. However, their dynamic may have shifted after LeBron was caught singing along to a diss track.

During the beginning of his career, Drake created an entire music video featuring LeBron James. The track “Forever”includes several scenes of the LA Lakers’ small forward from his high school days. At a recent concert, Drake also made a reference to LeBron while singing his popular song “Sicko Mode”alongside Travis Scott.

LeBron has also had his fair share of memorable moments with Drake. One of the most humorous occurred during an All-Star game where comedian Kevin Hart was among the many celebrities seated courtside. As LeBron was making his way down the court, he playfully took Hart’s drink and personally delivered it to Drake.

Despite the strong bond between the two, numerous fans are urging Drake to address Kendrick’s recent remarks. LeBron has consistently shown support for his longtime comrade in the music industry, but it appears that their loyalty may have wavered. It remains to be seen whether LeBron’s viral video will serve as motivation for Drake to respond.
