In light of Combs’ recent arrest, West Coast rapper Ice Cube assured his followers that he is not involved in any of the videos collected by federal authorities from Diddy’s residence. His comments came shortly after he declared on stage that he has no ties to Diddy and has never participated in any of his events.

Cube’s reassurance followed an incident in July 2024 where he suggested that Diddy was the target of a conspiracy, claiming that allegations of s*xual assault against him were aimed at bringing him down.

On Monday, July 15, during an appearance on Patrick Bet-David’s PBD Podcast, the N.W.A co-founder discussed the various s*xual assault allegations against Diddy.

Patrick and Ice Cube covered a range of topics on the podcast, including Ice Cube’s upbringing, his friendship with late rap icon Tupac Shakur, and more. As the conversation unfolded, Diddy’s legal troubles were brought into focus.

Ice Cube remarked,

“How could you be surprised with anything that happens in Hip Hop? Hip Hop is the Wild West, so you are going to have the good, you’re going to have the bad, you’re going to have the ugly.”

He further expressed skepticism about the accounts of Diddy’s alleged victims, stating,

“I believe he’s being targeted. I believe somebody has the power to pull the trigger to make this stuff just domino effect happen.”

Cube did clarify that he “lost contact with him and stopped dealing with Diddy around ’94″and reiterated that he has never been to one of his parties.

Despite Ice Cube’s defense of Diddy, federal agents claim to have uncovered evidence of the rapper’s long-rumored “freak-off”parties during his arrest on September 16, as indicated by the indictment. The charges allege that Diddy regularly coerced women into engaging in lengthy s*xual activities with male escorts and distributing drugs.

The indictment also detailed that many alleged victims claimed they were given drugs and pressured to act as “freak-offs”over several days.

Moreover, during the searches of his residences in Miami and Los Angeles, authorities reportedly found over a thousand bottles of baby oil and personal lubricant, believed to be for replenishing hotel rooms for after-hours gatherings.

The federal agents seized a tape recording of Diddy’s purported “freak-offs,”which allegedly featured “well-executed and planned s*xual acts”that the rapper “oversaw, engaged in m*sturbation during, and frequently captured on electronic devices.”

In the wake of Diddy’s arrest on allegations of racketeering and s*x trafficking, other prominent rappers have distanced themselves from him. Method Man asserted that Diddy’s arrest should not be conflated with hip-hop culture, while former Bad Boy artist and politician Shyne Barrow urged the public not to associate Diddy with his own difficult past.

As of the time this article was published, Ice Cube has not made any further comments regarding the situation.
