“I Worked Hard on My Role”: Now You See Me 3 Star Discusses Enhanced Skillset and Commends the Whole Cast

In an exciting update for fans of the franchise, Dave Franco has revealed that his character, Jack Wilder, will experience an intriguing transformation in the upcoming film, Now You See Me 3. Helmed by director Ruben Fleischer, this new installment promises to elevate the illusionist’s signature tricks, taking them to unprecedented heights. The story will bring back the beloved Four Horsemen, who are set to execute another mind-bending heist filled with their trademark high-stakes magic and clever deception. Franco will reprise his role alongside a star-studded cast, including Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Isla Fisher, while also welcoming new talent like Rosamund Pike. Fans can anticipate the film’s release in theaters on November 14.

In a recent interview with Collider, Franco expressed his enthusiasm for Jack’s newly upgraded magic tricks and the overall experience of collaborating with such a talented ensemble. Throughout the Now You See Me series, the illusionist con artists have utilized impressive magic techniques, sleight-of-hand, misdirection, and even hypnosis to pull off daring heists while staying a step ahead of both law enforcement and the enigmatic organization known as The Eye. Regarding his character’s evolution in this latest chapter, Franco had some insightful remarks:

With my character, it’s always been more about hand dexterity stuff. I’ve always been the guy who throws cards. But now, I find different ways to throw cards. It’s actually very impressive. I put a lot of work into it.

I think it’s out there — Rosamund Pike. She’s great. She’s excellent. I just have such a good time with this cast. I don’t think there are any sets that I laugh on more. We’ve known each other for almost 15 years, and I just adore all of them. Weirdly, we’re all kind of different, but when we get together, it’s just like this love fest.[Alison Brie] kind of has the same thing with her Community crew. If we can make 10 of these, I just would love to keep doing stuff with them.
