“I think Deen beats him” – Ryan Garcia mocks Rolando Romero after staggering loss, calls out Isaac Cruz for a fight
Ryan Garcia has recently shared his thoughts on the ‘Rolly’ Romero vs. ‘Pitbull’ fight, where Isaac Cruz claimed victory with a dominant eighth-round TKO. Throughout the match, Cruz had ‘Rolly’ on unsteady footing multiple times, particularly in rounds one and seven.
Watch the conclusion of the Rolando Romero vs. Isaac Cruz fight:
Despite being the former WBA super lightweight champion, Romero was taunted by Garcia over his loss and was told that he should stick to boxing influencers instead. This was a harsh critique of his abilities as a fighter.
Garcia stated:
“Remember when Rollies thought he pulled a fast one on me by choosing to fight Pitbull the last second and then proceeded to get knocked out by a 125 pounder. Main to the co to the KO. In all seriousness Rolly needs to do influencer boxing and I’m not kidding I think Deen beats him.”
Following his controversial statement that Nurideen Shabazz, also known as Deen the Great, would defeat ‘Rolly,’ ‘KingRy’ turned his attention to Cruz and issued a challenge for a fight, further aggravating the situation.
He stated:
“In the end I respect Pitbull. He’s a small fighter able to KO bigger fighters. A fight would be great!!! Let’s do it one day. I’m focused on the task ahead but that would be fun.”
‘KingRy’ is currently scheduled to face off against Devin Haney, an undefeated pound-for-pound boxing legend, on April 20 for the latter’s WBC super lightweight championship.
Ryan Garcia and Rolando Romero’s Shared Opponent
Ryan Garcia and Rolando Romero may not want to acknowledge it, but they share many similarities. Additionally, they both suffered their initial professional boxing defeat at the hands of Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, who defeated them both.
