“I Never Trusted Her” – The Circle’s Jadejha Comments on Relationship with Madelyn Post-Show

The Circle Season 7 wrapped up with its thrilling finale on October 2. In this engaging reality game show, contestants created social media profiles to participate in the game, with some opting for their real identities while others chose to catfish using different personas.

During the course of 13 riveting episodes, players formed strategic alliances and participated in various challenges and rankings. Ultimately, five contestants reached the finale, with Nick and Jojo, who portrayed Gianna, claiming the grand prize.

Jadejha Edwards, a contestant known for her authenticity, reached episode 12 of the reality show. Following the finale, she shared insights during an interview with Collider, revealing that she and fellow contestant Madelyn have no relationship following the filming. Jadejha stated:

“I never trusted her, I never believed her, it was always strategy, especially when I had a pretty good indicator that Darian was probably going to go home.”

Jadejha Edwards Discusses Strategy, Madelyn, and the Finale of The Circle Season 7

In her post-finale interview for The Circle Season 7, Jadejha made it clear that her relationship with Madelyn has remained minimal. However, she clarified that there is no ongoing conflict between them.

“We don’t have much of a relationship now. We’re not beefing,”Jadejha explained.

Jadejha admitted to never fully trusting Madelyn, conversing with her only as part of her gameplay. Her suspicions were heightened when she realized that Madelyn was targeting Darian for elimination.

Following the finale, Jadejha revealed that Madelyn confided in her, expressing that she felt “scared”of her during the game. This revelation baffled Jadejha, as it made little sense to her why Madelyn would feel intimidated.

Jadejha articulated that she generally comes across as “such a genuine person”until someone crosses her. This mindset was integral to her strategy in the game. She remarked:

“I was like, ‘I want people to look at me and think of me as like the Girl Next Door because they’re never going to think that this sweet innocent girl is going to be making moves for real.’

In the interview, Jadejha also praised Nick and Jojo for their play as Gianna in The Circle Season 7, acknowledging Jojo’s ability to channel his girlfriend’s persona.

“You can tell that Jojo pays attention to his girlfriend because he definitely channeled that. That’s so funny. But also so real for a guy who’s dating his girl to be able to channel her a little bit,”she stated.

Jadejha and Madelyn’s Dynamic in The Circle Season 7

Initially, Jadejha formed an alliance with Madelyn. However, after switching profiles with Rachel, Madelyn had to adapt her game strategy. Acting as Rachel, she engaged in private discussions with her alliance.

To safeguard her position and revert to her original profile, Madelyn had to eliminate her alliance member Andy, with whom she had a romantic connection. Subsequently, she manipulated the “bros alliance,”leading to Darian’s elimination.

Once Darian was out, Madelyn planned to target Jadejha, whom she viewed as a strong competitor. Although Jadejha attempted to restore their alliance, she was eliminated when Madelyn became the secret influencer in Episode 12. Jadejha was dissatisfied with the outcome, feeling that their alliance should have held weight.

The Circle Season 7 episodes are available for streaming on Netflix.
