“I Had a Difficult Night” — Cardi B Suspects Conception of Third Child Happened on Last Year’s New Year’s Eve

In a recent Instagram Live session, rapper Cardi B revealed how she discovered her pregnancy with her third child. The news followed her announcement on September 12 about the birth of her baby girl with her estranged husband, Offset, shortly after their split.

During the Instagram Live on September 25, Cardi shared the details of how she found out about her pregnancy.

“I woke up one morning, and my mouth tasted like copper. So I thought, oh my gosh! This only happens to me when I am pregnant. I automatically knew that I was pregnant.”

The rapper mentioned that she had only been intimate on Valentine’s Day in 2024 and initially believed she was six to seven weeks along. However, after consulting her trusted OBGYN, Cardi realized she was actually around 17 weeks pregnant. She recalled a “wild night”on New Year’s Eve last year:

“I had a real nasty night, like nasty night. Like back to back type of sh*t, you know what I am saying? So I thought maybe that’s why I did not get a positive result when I took the tests for my surgery because I probably got pregnant on New Year’s and then went for my surgery. But then I saw the sonogram, and there was a whole baby. I got real, real emotional right away.”

Cardi also shared how she inquired about the gender of her baby and was overjoyed to learn she was having a girl. Hearing it was a girl made her even more emotional, as she expressed her love for raising daughters.

The rapper expressed her delight with the arrival of her third child, referring to her as a “little bean”and the “cutest,”adding that she has felt a surge of energy since the birth.

Cardi B’s estranged husband, Offset, accused her of infidelity during her pregnancy

During her Instagram Live on September 25, Offset took to the comments to accuse Cardi of cheating while she was pregnant. In a comment, he stated:

“U f**ked with a baby inside tell the truth!!”

Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in August 2024, shortly after announcing her pregnancy. Despite the separation, the couple welcomed their baby girl in September 2024. They also share two other children: Kulture, aged 6, and Wave, aged 3.

Following Offset’s accusations, Cardi addressed the situation on social media, tweeting:

“AND DID!!!!!!”

Fans speculated this was her response to Offset’s claims, although she didn’t elaborate. During her Instagram Live, Cardi B expressed regret about her relationship with Offset, despite her gratitude for their three children together.

“But f**k you, I regret you. I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you. Since you wanna f**king threaten me, talking about you wanna take my sh*t, you wanna take my sh*t because I’m moving on? Move on. Why can’t you move on?,” she stated, adding, “It’s no fun when Mama’s got the gun, right? Now we’re going to court war, right?”

Cardi B and Offset’s relationship began in 2017, and they secretly married that year. Although Cardi filed for divorce in 2020, they reconciled shortly after. However, she filed for divorce again in August 2024 after announcing her pregnancy with their third child.
