“I Am So Happy” – Joan from The Golden Bachelorette Expresses Her Engagement Hopes

The highly anticipated first part of The Golden Bachelorette finale is set to debut exclusively on ABC on October 30, 2024. With only three remaining contestants, viewers are eager to find out the choice of this season’s leading lady, Joan. In a preview for the upcoming episode, Joan expressed her overwhelming joy and her aspiration for an engagement by the week’s end.

In the finale preview, Joan revealed her desire to reach a decision that resonates with both her “heart and head.”She shared:

“I am so happy, it’s indescribable. My biggest hope is that my heart and my head come together and that, in a couple weeks, this ends with an engagement.”

The synopsis of the episode reveals that Joan and her romantic prospects will head to Tahiti for one-on-one dates filled with “adventure.”Joan is expected to engage in “difficult conversations”as she makes her ultimate choice. Additionally, the episode promises a surprising twist, stating:

“Joan and her remaining suitors travel to Tahiti for overnight dates; a familiar face arrives, instilling in Joan a renewed confidence to engage in deep, adventurous discussions; one overnight date takes a surprising turn.”

Joan explains her motivations for joining The Golden Bachelorette

“The journey ended exactly like it should. I feel like I found a lot of love and there’s all different kinds of love. I feel like every one of these men are gonna be in my life forever. We shared really, really intimate things about our lives and we are bonded. So I think I found a lot of love actually this season.”

In another interview conducted in September 2024 with People magazine, Joan conveyed that her desire for an engagement was not driven by necessity but rather by following her heart. The Golden Bachelorette star mentioned that her goal was not just to get engaged but to ensure she left the show having found the right match. Although she welcomed the prospect of an engagement, Joan emphasized the importance of addressing how their relationship would function outside of “the Bachelor bubble.”She expressed:

“My goal was to leave in a committed relationship. I wanted to have somebody I saw a future with and that we wanted to see how it works in the real world outside of the Bachelor bubble.”

The Golden Bachelorette star underscored her wish for a “committed relationship,”regardless of any engagement on the show, stating:

“I didn’t want to go through all of this and be at the same place I was when I came to the mansion.”

New episodes of The Golden Bachelorette air weekly on Wednesdays at 8/7c on ABC, and are available for streaming on Hulu the following day. Fans can connect with Joan Vassos on her official Instagram: @joan_Vassos.
