“I am looking forward to entertaining fans” – Nong-O Hama says putting up thrilling fights is still his main objective
Nong-O Hama, a former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, remains determined to deliver exciting and captivating performances in his fights.
Despite once holding a ONE gold title and maintaining a perfect 10-0 promotional record, Nong-O has faced disappointment in his recent fights, being knocked out by both Jonathan Haggerty and Nico Carrillo, much to the dismay of his fans.
Nong-O is determined to bounce back on April 5 at ONE Friday Fights 58. In order to achieve this, the 37-year-old must defeat Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In an interview with Sportsmanor, the legendary eight-time ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion expressed his belief in prioritizing entertainment in his fights.
“The thing I look forward to is the aspect of the fight being entertaining. I am really looking forward to entertaining the fans and looking forward for the fight to be fun and exciting.”
“Viewers around the world can watch ONE Friday Fights 58 live on global pay-per-view through the website watch.onefc.com.”

Introducing Kulabdam, Nong-O Hama’s Next Opponent
In Sep. 2019, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai successfully made his debut in ONE Championship, defeating Bobo Sacko by unanimous decision. Despite securing his second win in the promotion, the two-time Lumpinee Stadium world champion faced a major setback as he lost three out of four fights against high-level opponents.
Ever since, Kulabdam has made a strong comeback with four back-to-back victories, with one no-contest against Rafi Bohic in between his last three wins. His most recent win was a dominant first-round knockout on Feb. 16, where he defeated Julio Lobo at ONE Friday Fights 52.
It is important to recognize that Nong-O Hama’s recent two losses were against highly skilled opponents. As a result, Kulabdam must not underestimate the abilities of the Thai legend, or else risk experiencing his first defeat since March 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 58.
