“I am in the mood”: Bette Midler shows interest in joining Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Annemarie Wiley’s exit
Bette Midler, known for her singing and acting career, has publicly stated her desire to be a part of the popular Bravo reality show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She shared on her verified social media account:
“Is it too late for me to become a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills? I’m in the mood to talk some sh*t.”
Midler revealed that although she has never watched the reality show, she is excited to finally be a part of the drama on screen. The post was also accompanied by a comment from executive producer and TV show host, Andy Cohen, who exclaimed, “It’s about time!”
Bette Midler also received a reply from Bravos’ official X account:
“Talk about a glorious crossover.”
Despite being relatively unknown, Midler has already established herself as a prominent figure in Hollywood, earning various prestigious awards for her outstanding performances in a range of films including three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Tony Awards, and a British Academy Film Award.
Production for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is underway
Following the conclusion of the three-part reunion, season 13 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has come to an end and production for season 14 is set to commence. On March 13, 2024, viewers bid farewell to Annemarie Wiley as she announced her departure from the Bravo series.
The thirteenth season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills featured Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, and Annemarie Wiley as part of the cast. On Sunday, March 24, 2024, Annemarie took to her Instagram account to express her disappointment after not receiving an invitation for the next season.
Annemarie conveyed her appreciation for the support she received from her fans and extended her well wishes to the new cast members for the upcoming season.
“To the fans that saw past what was portrayed and saw the REAL me, thank you so much for the love and support. I wish all the ladies good luck on the next season and thank you Bravo for the opportunity.”
Despite the Bravo team for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills not yet releasing an official cast list for season 14, fans have already started making predictions. According to an article by Deadline, it has been reported that Kathy Hilton will be joining the new cast, following her appearance in the season 13 reunion alongside her sister Kyle Richards. Kyle is currently the only remaining original cast member on the show.
During the Easter Celebration at the Los Angeles Mission on March 29, 2024, Denise Richards, a former castmate of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, suggested that she may make a comeback to the Bravo show. Denise spoke with People and expressed that she holds no grudges against Erika Girardi and is willing to rejoin the series.
She spoke:
“I always say, ‘Never say never.’ I have nothing against her at all. It’s just, it’s silly fights on the show sometimes. We’ll see what happens when they get around to going back for their season.”
Denise initially made a guest appearance on the show before becoming a series regular for seasons 9 and 10. She then made a comeback in the previous season as a guest.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the new cast members for season 14 of the Bravo TV series and are curious to know if Bette Midler will make an appearance.
