“I am always trying to develop myself” – Superbon says his eagerness to learn keeps him ahead of his peers
Superbon has a deep understanding of both reaching the top and remaining there.
Despite no longer holding the ONE featherweight kickboxing world championship, the division remains incredibly competitive with a plethora of top-tier athletes, making it a remarkable accomplishment to be among the division’s top contenders.
The ex-world champion is aware that in order to stay among the top strikers in the world, he must constantly grow and develop his skills as a fighter. He believes this can be achieved by keeping an open mind and seeking to learn from other successful fighters.
Prior to his upcoming main event bout against Marat Grigorian at ONE Friday Fights 58, Superbon shared with Fightlore Official that he believes there is always something to be gained from the exceptional martial artists he encounters along his journey.
“What makes me different is that I put in a lot of effort to learn. Whoever is a strong fighter, I train with them. I train with them and I learn from them. I am always trying to develop myself. No one is perfect.”

The Importance of Superbon’s Evolution in Upcoming Matches
Superbon is well aware that with the division having multiple world-class strikers, he will constantly face quick and frequent rematches.
At the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 5, the highly anticipated trilogy between him and Grigorian will reach its thrilling conclusion in the main event.
The champion’s previous win at ONE X was a clear triumph. However, he understands that in order to continue this winning streak, he must not rely solely on his past achievements.
Grigorian’s motivation for this fight is to make a statement, and as a result, Superbon must demonstrate that he is still as determined as their previous encounter.
Winning the interim title on April 5 would also guarantee him a rematch with Chingiz Allazov, providing another opportunity to assess his growth as a striker.
The 58th edition of Friday Fights will be broadcast live on April 5 via global PPV during primetime in Asia. Viewers can tune in at watch.onefc.com to watch the event.
