“I actually did your job for you” – CM Punk missed out on a huge opportunity during RAW appearance; feels wrestling legend

The segment on RAW this week featuring CM Punk was recently discussed by wrestling veteran Konnan.

During the latest episode of RAW, the renowned wrestler known as “The Best in the World”made an appearance. He engaged in a heated verbal exchange with both the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, and the number one contender, Drew McIntyre. Punk made the exciting announcement that he would serve as the commentator for their upcoming match, promising to add an element of interest to the event.

During a recent episode of Keepin’ it 100, Konnan expressed his belief that when the audience began chanting for a referee, Punk missed an opportunity to announce that he would officiate the World Heavyweight title match at WrestleMania. According to the legendary wrestler, if WWE management had questioned him, Punk should have simply stated that he was making their job easier.

“I don’t know if you noticed this but when he came out obviously, he was coming out to announce he was a commentator. But he kinda went into business for himself when he said, ‘I don’t know maybe if you’re looking for somebody impartial, you might want a referee.’ And the people were like yeah fu*k commentator, referee. And I was thinking, ‘Punk, it got over. Why don’t you just ad-lib and say I’m gonna be the referee? When you go backstage and they say why did you say that? Bro, ‘that’s what they want me to be. I actually did your job for you.’ You know what I’m saying?”[10:44 – 11:20]

CM Punk Calls Out The Rock in Epic Promo

This week on RAW, CM Punk delivered a lively promo for the audience. He called out Roman Reigns for mentioning him on Pat McAfee’s podcast.

Punk also directed jabs at his previous opponent, The Rock, who has remained quiet about the star’s comeback. Punk suggested that The Final Boss likely recognized that “his arms were simply not long enough to fight against God.”

The presence of the Straightedge Superstar on commentary during the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania is bound to bring an intriguing element to the event.

It will be intriguing to observe whether CM Punk’s participation will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the Rollins vs McIntyre match.
