The latest episode (episode 13) of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18, released on October 3, 2024, spotlighted Shannon Storms Beador’s plans for a girls’ trip to London. In a surprising twist, Shannon texted Alexis Bellino to inform her that everyone was welcome, except for her. This unexpected exclusion deeply hurt Alexis, particularly as she had been trying to repair their fractured friendship.

Prior to this, Alexis attempted to mend their relationship by sending Shannon a birthday gift, hoping it would help them move forward. Unfortunately, Shannon’s response was not what Alexis anticipated; instead of acknowledging the gift, Shannon emphasized the importance of setting boundaries regarding Bellino.

In an October 3, 2024, interview with Bravo, Alexis candidly reflected on her reaction to Shannon’s text messages, admitting it was “one of those moments”where she “acted 16.”Meanwhile, fellow cast member Katie noted that she and Gina found themselves “kicked out”of Alexis’s residence following Shannon’s actions. However, Alexis disputed this, stating:

“It was one of those moments where I acted 16 instead of 47.”

Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, titled “You Are Cordially Not Invited,”features a synopsis that reads:

Alexis Reflects on Shannon’s Text Message

Alexis Bellino expressed that Shannon’s text message felt unnecessary, admitting she had already suspected she would be excluded from the trip, making the communication redundant.

She further emphasized that this wasn’t the first instance where Shannon had attempted to exclude her from the friend group, stating:

“I mean, I don’t even know what you call that text, because like I said she just could’ve not invited me and it would’ve been known Alexis isn’t going, but it’s just one more thing because ever since I came around this group of women again, Shannon has been trying to get me out of the group.”

Despite her previous suspicions, Alexis was still taken aback by the directness of Shannon’s text regarding her exclusion.

Alexis noted that she did not handle Shannon’s revelation about the invitation well, especially amidst rising tensions with her friends Katie Ginella and Jennifer Pedranti.

She further elaborated:

“I mean, I wouldn’t invite her to go on a trip with me either. I thought the way she texted it was a little not necessary. She didn’t even need to tell me I wasn’t invited, because I just would’ve not gotten the invitation to go. So I really didn’t need a text. But on my side of it, I. .. yeah, I didn’t handle it so well.”
