New Character Launch in Honkai: Star Rail’s 3.5 Update
HoYoVerse has officially announced the introduction of Hysilens as the latest playable character from the Chrysos Heirs in the upcoming 3.5 update of Honkai: Star Rail. Previously referred to as Helektra, Hysilens is intricately linked with the game’s Okhema and Styxia factions and will make her debut as a five-star character, promising excitement for players.
Explore Hysilens’ Unique Abilities
During her reveal, key details about Hysilens’ gameplay were shared. She will represent the Nihility path, which enables her to inflict negative status effects on enemies, similar to fellow Chrysos Heir, Cipher. Notably, Hysilens will be distinguished as the first five-star Physical Nihility character, setting her apart as a unique asset in players’ rosters. The only character sharing her path and element thus far is Luka, who is a four-star unit.
Chrysos Heirs: A Growing Cast
The Chrysos Heirs faction has steadily expanded its roster in Honkai: Star Rail, drawing comparisons to the Thirteen Flame-Chasers from Honkai Impact 3rd. Aglaea was the first to be unveiled, followed by Tribbie, Mydei, Anaxa, and Castorice. The introduction of Hyacine and Cipher in version 3.3 marked a significant milestone for this group, with Aglaea seeing a rerun concurrently with Cipher’s debut. Players can expect Phainon to join the lineup when version 3.4 launches on July 2, 2025. While some characters have clear inspirations—such as Phainon resembling Kevin and Aglaea echoing Aponia—Hysilens’ character reference remains intriguing, with speculation around her connection to Eden given their shared themes of celebrity and performance.

Honkai: Star Rail is accessible on PS5, PC, and mobile devices, ensuring players can engage with the latest content anywhere. Hysilens is set to join the game with patch 3.5, heightening anticipation within the community.
