
Heart Machine has recently unveiled its first Early Access roadmap for Hyper Light Breaker, marking a significant milestone for the game after a challenging debut. While the forthcoming updates in February and March are mostly incremental improvements, the highlight will be a substantial content expansion dubbed “Buried Below, ”set for release in April. This update will introduce a new character, known as Ravona (previously called “Crow”), alongside an array of new adversaries, Holobytes, and Affixes. These additions aim to enhance gameplay balance while ensuring players encounter engaging challenges characteristic of this roguelite genre.
New Character and Features
Ravona, the highly anticipated new Breaker, will come equipped with unique SyComs and face formidable new enemies, including an Elite adversary, perfect for players looking to raise the stakes in Hyper Light Breaker. Among the new features included in this update are fresh Holobytes such as “Hunter’s Mark”and an assortment of Affixes designed to refresh gameplay and increase difficulty. The introduction of Ravona has been eagerly awaited by the community, who regularly requested gameplay footage following her initial reveal.
