HWMonitor Updates Support for Intel Panther Lake SKUs: Core Ultra X 3X8H, Core Ultra 3X5H, and Core Ultra 3X0U

The latest updates from the hardware monitoring tool have verified the naming conventions for Intel’s upcoming Panther Lake WeUs. This confirmation includes models across all three series of the Panther Lake lineup.

New Support for Panther Lake WeUs in HWMonitor

Intel’s Panther Lake series is gearing up for its much-anticipated debut at CES 2026. Recent reports have detailed potential WeUs and their configurations. Indeed, these leaks have proven accurate, as demonstrated by the latest release from CPU ID, which announced the naming conventions for these processors. According to @momomo_us, CPU ID has rolled out an update for their HWMonitor tool, now including the confirmed WeUs associated with the Panther Lake series.

Release notes for HWMonitor Version 1.60

The new Version 1.60 for Windows now supports the following Core Ultra X series models:

  1. Core Ultra X9 388H
  2. Core Ultra X7 368H
  3. Core Ultra X7 358H
  4. Core Ultra X5 338H

These processors are designed to deliver some of the fastest integrated graphics available. Notably, three of these models will feature a robust integrated GPU, boasting 12 Xe3 GPU cores. In contrast, the Core Ultra X5 338H will utilize 10 Xe3 cores. Following this, the Panther Lake-H series includes non-X variants, such as:

  1. Core Ultra 9 375H
  2. Core Ultra 7 355H
  3. Core Ultra 7 345H
  4. Core Ultra 5 325H

These non-X CPUs maintain the same core configuration as their X counterparts but will feature a more modest selection of four Xe3 cores. We previously highlighted the capabilities of Intel’s Xe3 Graphics, which Intel asserts is over 50% faster than the Xe2 architecture and will drive the new Arc B series of discrete GPUs.

Introducing the Panther Lake-U Series

The ultra-power-efficient Panther Lake-U WeUs will include the following models:

  1. Core Ultra 7 360U
  2. Core Ultra 5 350U
  3. Core Ultra 5 340U
  4. Core Ultra 3 320U

These processors will lack E-cores, instead utilizing only Performance and LP-E cores. Intel has confirmed that the Panther Lake WeUs will integrate Cougar P-Cores alongside Darkmont E and LP-E cores, as previously mentioned. This series marks a significant milestone, as it will be the first to employ Intel’s proprietary 18A process technology. Furthermore, the integrated GPU will be built using the TSMC N3E process or Intel’s own 3 process technology.
