Hulk Hogan being discussed for major role on WrestleMania Weekend

With only three days left until WWE’s 40th annual WrestleMania PLE, excitement is building for the highly anticipated two-night event. Rumors have been swirling about Hulk Hogan’s presence, and backstage sources have revealed potential details about the wrestling legend’s role at the event.

Despite not making an appearance at WrestleMania since co-hosting in 2021, Hulk Hogan will always be linked to the event, dating back to its first installment in 1984. During WrestleMania 37, Hogan was a part of multiple segments, including a notable nWo moment, further solidifying his association with the annual event.

According to a recent report, WWE officials have been in discussions with Steve Austin about WrestleMania 40 and are also attempting to secure Hogan for a potential appearance at the event. However, no additional information has been disclosed. Further reports from Fightful Select suggest that the company is also contemplating Hogan for a role at the 2024 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

WWE previously stated that the late Muhammad Ali would be inducted into the Hall of Fame by his wife, Lonnie Ali. However, there have been talks among officials about including Hogan in the induction ceremony for the Olympic gold medalist boxer.

It is still unclear how Hogan will potentially support Ali in honoring her deceased husband during his induction, as at present, this is merely speculation from sources close to the six-time WWE Champion.

Ali is well known for being the special guest referee for the main event of WrestleMania I. The match resulted in a victory for Hogan and Mr. T as they defeated Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper. During the match, Ali delivered an early punch to Piper, showcasing his boxing skills.
