Hueningkai of TXT Discusses His Health Issues After Leaving KSPO Dome Concert Early

Hueningkai Takes a Brief Exit During TXT Concert Due to Health Concerns

During the concert at KSPO Dome on November 1, 2024, fans were taken aback when Hueningkai, a member of the popular K-pop group TXT, exited the stage unexpectedly. Following the performance of several songs, he left mid-set after experiencing symptoms of Tinnitus, sparking concern among MOAs, the dedicated fandom of TXT.

In a heartfelt moment, the remaining members reassured the audience that Hueningkai had attempted to perform despite feeling unwell. However, he ultimately had to prioritize his health and step away to rest.

Hueningkai Addresses Fans’ Concerns

Two days later, during a press conference prior to TXT’s final encore concert in Seoul, Hueningkai shared insights about his health challenges. He expressed gratitude to fans for their concern, stating:

“Thank you so much for worrying about me. I wasn’t feeling well since the day before, and even though I tried to push through, my condition worsened, so unfortunately, I couldn’t stand on stage. But today, I really wanted to see my fans, so I made sure to come out.”

He further elaborated on the importance of health, emphasizing:

“After being unwell yesterday and coming to perform today, I truly felt the importance of health more than ever. I hope we can all stay healthy and avoid injuries for the rest of the year. That feels like our comeback goal this time.”

BIGHIT MUSIC Issues a Statement on Health Matters

TXT is currently engaged in their world tour titled ACT: PROMISE, which began on May 3, 2024, and is set to conclude on December 1, 2024, in Osaka, Japan. While the tour has largely proceeded without incident, Hueningkai’s recent experience drew significant attention.

Although he delivered a valiant effort, many concertgoers noticed that the young performer appeared visibly fatigued and occasionally trembled on stage. This prompted fans to express their concerns when he left the performance early. In response, BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement addressing the situation.

According to the announcement, Hueningkai was facing health issues attributed to indigestion, which affected his ability to perform. Despite his determination to continue participating in future concerts, he was advised to ensure adequate rest for recovery.

“On November 1st, during the TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR ACT: PROMISE ENCORE IN SEOUL, HUENINGKAI experienced a sudden decline in condition due to indigestion and was unable to continue performing. He is currently resting and focusing on recovery.”

Future Plans and Recovery

While BIGHIT MUSIC acknowledged Hueningkai’s eagerness to return to the stage, they emphasized the importance of his health, stating they would remain flexible about his participation as he recuperates:

“Although the artist is very determined to participate in future shows, we will prioritize his health and flexibly adjust his participation based on his condition. We kindly ask for MOA’s understanding. Our company will do everything we can to support HUENINGKAI’s recovery so he can meet fans again in good health.”

Additionally, TXT is set to release their seventh mini-album titled The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY on November 4, 2024, generating anticipation among fans for both the upcoming music and Hueningkai’s eventual return to full health.
