Exciting New Outfits in Genshin Impact’s 2025 Lantern Rite Event
Every year, the Lantern Rite festival in Genshin Impact brings delightful surprises, including new character outfits. In 2025, players will be treated to captivating costumes for fan-favorite characters Hu Tao and Xiangling. As has become tradition, the four-star character’s new attire can be obtained for free during the event, while the five-star character’s outfit will require a purchase.
Hu Tao’s Cherries Snow-Laden Outfit
The standout costume for Hu Tao is named Cherries Snow-Laden. This enchanting outfit features a striking red and white ensemble coupled with a stylish matching hat. Notably, her hairstyle has also undergone a transformation, maintaining her signature pigtails. However, her companion, the ghostly figure, does not receive a new look alongside Hu Tao’s. As a five-star character, her costume will be available exclusively for purchase with Genesis Crystals, priced at a standard rate of 2,480 crystals, although promotional sales may occur during the patch’s launch.
Xiangling’s New Year’s Cheer Costume
Xiangling’s outfit, known as New Year’s Cheer, showcases a festive combination of a red and white coat layered over a black bodysuit. She completes this look with a charming Guoba hat and a matching purse. Players can earn Xiangling’s costume by participating in the Lantern Rite event’s various minigames. Once the event concludes, her outfit will transition to the in-game shop, available for 1,680 Genesis Crystals.
