While Gemini cannot replace Siri, it can be assigned to the Action Button for quick access if you have an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max. For older models running on iOS 16 or newer, a shortcut widget can be added to the lock screen.

Creating a Shortcut for Google Gemini on Your iPhone

Gemini Chat Pro is a free shortcut that is compatible with Gemini Pro. You can easily install it on your iPhone or iPad by configuring the Gemini Chat shortcut through the Shortcuts app.

To begin, download the Shortcuts app onto your iPhone or iPad from the App Store.

Step 2: Navigate to the shortcut page for the Gemini Pro Chat on RoutineHub and click the Get Shortcut option or use the QR code to access it.

Step 3: Click on the Add Shortcut button.

Step 4: The shortcut will be visible on the app’s home screen. Simply tap on the Gemini Chat shortcut to access it.

Step 5: Once you come across the “How can I help you?”box on the screen, just type in your prompt and click on the done button.

Step 6: After reading the reply, tap done to receive an instant response. If you have any additional questions, you can add them in the “Anything Else?”box.
