Once you have completed the necessary quest, you can mine both Large Red Crystals and the Heart of the Island to procure Evil Eye ore. While both types of rocks can yield Evil Eye ore, the Large Red Crystals offer the highest chance for a successful drop. The Heart of the Island offers the bonus of also providing the Stolen Heart, making it a valuable source for multiple resources in your farming efforts.
The Large Red Crystals have a hefty durability of 32, 200 HP, while the Heart of the Island boasts even more at 32, 500 HP. To effectively break these rocks, you will need one of the best pickaxes available in The Forge. However, be prepared for the challenge, as there is only a 1 in 33, 333 chance of successfully obtaining Evil Eye ore from mining these rocks. Furthermore, it is essential to wield a pickaxe with a minimum mining power of 650 to break either type of rock.
Continue mining until you find the ore. If you fail to locate the Evil Eye, do not completely deplete the rock—leave it to regenerate. Persist with this approach until you’re successful, and only then should you finish mining the rock. Additionally, remember to redeem The Forge codes for complimentary rerolls to enhance your chances of obtaining superior races, as using a Dwarf or Angel race increases your luck in discovering Evil Eye ore.
