How to get Drax, Young Adult Groot, and Mantis Skins in Fortnite
After much anticipation, Fortnite’s Metaverse has welcomed the addition of Drax, Young Adult Groot, and Mantis Skins. It was widely believed that these characters would join the game upon the release of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in May 2023. However, this did not happen as expected. It is possible that the delay was due to the development of LEGO Styles for each character. Nonetheless, the community is elated to finally have them in the game.
Now that the LEGO Fortnite update v29.10 has introduced vehicles to the game, it’s the perfect opportunity to join in on the action with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Players have the option to dress up as various members of the team, such as Star-Lord and Gamora. However, it is unfortunate that characters like Nebula and others are still missing. Nevertheless, here’s a guide on obtaining the Drax, Young Adult Groot, and Mantis Skins in Fortnite.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Pack consists of a total of 11 items, and the following are included:
- Drax (Outfit + LEGO Style)
- Drax’s Blades (Back Bling)
- Drax’s Blades (Pickaxe)
- Young Adult Groot (Outfit + LEGO Style)
- Groot’s Gamepad (Back Bling)
- Flora Colossus Fist (Pickaxe)
- Mantins (Outfit + LEGO Style) [Reactive]
- Lil Abilisk (Back Bling)
- Insectoid Claws (Pickaxe)
- Zargnut Invisibility (Emote)
- Potted Groot Dance (Emote)
To acquire all the cosmetics included in the Guardians of the Galaxy Set, players must purchase the Guardians of the Galaxy Pack for the price of $28.99.
Since this is a collection of real-money cosmetics, there is no alternative method of acquiring them individually. Additionally, they must be bought through your own account as they cannot be gifted to others.
Since their addition in the LEGO Fortnite update (v29.10), they may continue to be showcased for some time. It is possible that they will be available for a few weeks, or even until the end of Chapter 5 Season 2.
This will allow players to buy the set at their convenience, with plenty of time before it is vaulted. It is important to remember that the set will eventually be retired, and although it may come back in the future, the specific timeframe is unknown.
