Ceratosaurus Taming Guide in Ark Survival Ascended
There are two ways to tame a Ceratosaurus in Ark Survival Ascended: taming a juvenile, which is simple, or taming an adult, which is more challenging.
Taming a Baby Ceratosaurus:
In order to successfully tame a baby Ceratosaurus, your first step is to find a Centasaurus with a baby in its vicinity. Once you have located a Ceratosaurus, use a Spy Glass to observe it and you will notice a heart symbol displayed on it. Once you have met all the necessary conditions and have found a Ceratosaurus with its offspring, you can proceed to kill the creature. Keep in mind that the Ceratosaurus is a formidable opponent, so it is recommended to use a powerful tame or a group of tames to take it down.
After the parent Ceratosaurus has been eliminated, you may pursue the baby, provide it with meat, and begin the taming process. The creature will be successfully tamed when the taming bar is completely filled.
How to Tame an Adult Ceratosaurus:
Taming a fully grown Ceratosaurus can be a challenging task. Adequate preparation is essential before attempting to tame this formidable creature. Essential items for this task include a Hemogoblin cocktail, a Seratosaurus Saddle, Prime Meat, and a resilient tame with high endurance. With all preparations in place, venture out and locate a Ceratosaurus.
To successfully tame an Ark Survival Ascended Ceratosaurus, you must first provoke it into attacking you. Once it is aggressive and actively attacking you, administer the Hemogoblin Cocktail to your own dino. The effects of the Cocktail will be evident by the appearance of pink clouds surrounding your dino and a timer displayed at the top of the screen. Each time the Ceratosaurus attacks your dino, its level of intoxication will increase. Wait until it reaches 100 before administering another dose of the Cocktail, in case the timer runs out.
After the Ceratosaurus is completely inebriated, you may offer it Prime Meat to initiate the taming procedure. Once the taming gauge is filled, you will be able to claim your own Ceratosaurus. However, if the creature sobers up before you have completed the taming, it will become hostile and you must swiftly return to your dinosaur and repeat the steps. The taming gauge will not reset if the Ceratosaurus becomes sober.
