“How to Balance Family and Career?” – Detroit Fans React to Bravo’s Lack of Family Time in Love & Marriage

Love & Marriage: Detroit aired episode 4 of season 2 on September 28, titled No Love, No Grace, All Shade. This episode focused on the couples tackling various issues to enhance their relationships and included the debut of a new couple, Bravo and Lakeita.

During the episode, Lakeita expressed her concerns to Bravo about the limited time he spent with their family. She emphasized the need for him to be more responsible and allocate time for her and their children.

Bravo explained in a confessional that he owns six restaurants, which contributes to his hectic schedule. However, he acknowledged Lakeita’s feelings and engaged in a thoughtful discussion, ultimately promising to improve and be more present.

Viewers of Love & Marriage: Detroit took to X to encourage Bravo to achieve a better work-life balance, with many believing the couple had great potential.

“So Bravo needs to learn how to balance? I’m actually glad they are full time cast members this season,”said one fan.

“Bravo’s wife is so pretty, communicative and supportive I hope he finds balance between work and home fr,”added another fan.

“Bravo needs to come home at a reasonable time that isn’t too much to ask, in my opinion. Also, Keita should visit in the daytime if she feels more comfortable doing that,”commented an X user.

“Bravo now I know the weekends busy but maybe take time off during the weekdays lol look I’m trying to help y’all out,”suggested another fan.

Some viewers compared Bravo to his co-star Brandon, who has also faced criticism for being distant from his family. Others resonated with Bravo’s challenges due to their shared professions.

“I def know marrying a man, who does what I do… would be tough on the toughest of women….. I give my wife all the credit!”another person shared.

“Bravo needs a new line of work,”noted one X user.

“We seriously didn’t need another couple dealing with communication issues, where the woman feels unheard and the man uses his business as an excuse along with religion,”wrote another fan.

Bravo and Lakeita’s Discussion on Love & Marriage: Detroit Season 2 Episode 4

In episode 4, Lakeita confronted Bravo about not coming home early enough and her uncertainty regarding his whereabouts. She shared:

“I lost my dad when I was younger and that’s always a big factor for me when you’re out because I don’t ever want the girls to feel the same thing that I felt.”

Lakeita recounted how her father was murdered when she was just 5 years old. This tragedy fuels her anxiety about Bravo being out late at night, as she worries that their children might endure similar pain. She requested that Bravo keep her informed about his whereabouts, to which he agreed to improve his communication moving forward.
