Hori Announces Re-release of Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix Controller
In an exciting development for gaming enthusiasts, Hori is set to re-launch the beloved Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix controller for both Nintendo Switch and PC. This special edition will become available in March 2025, catering to fans eager to elevate their gaming experience.
Unique Features Designed for Gamers
This controller is specifically tailored for use with the Switch and Steam versions of the popular rhythm game. However, it also includes a unique feature allowing users to switch the button configuration to mimic PlayStation controls, providing a familiar feel for those accustomed to PlayStation gaming.
Included with the controller, while supplies last, are four customizable △◯✕□ buttons. This option appeals to players who prefer the PlayStation aesthetic or those who are more comfortable with these button shapes. Moreover, the buttons and sliders emit a vibrant glow during gameplay, replicating the immersive arcade experience offered by Future Tone arcade machines, bringing the arcade atmosphere right into players’ homes.
Controller Specifications
Unlike Hori’s earlier Future Tone DX controller, specifically designed for the PS4, this new controller for Switch and PC does not feature a “Normal Mode” toggle. Consequently, its functionality is limited exclusively to Project Diva Mega Mix. Additionally, unlike many modern controllers, this version does not offer wireless capabilities; users will need to connect it via USB for full functionality.

Pre-orders for the Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix controller became available on January 1, 2025. Priced at 38,478 JPY (approximately $245.90), interested gamers can secure their copy through the Hori website. However, it’s essential to note that Hori currently does not provide international shipping. Additionally, the game itself needs to be purchased separately.
