As reported by Us Weekly on October 17, Liam Payne tragically passed away at the age of 31. According to Buenos Aires emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti, he sustained “serious injuries”resulting from a fall from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The BBC reported on the same day that a 911 call indicated a hotel staff member described a guest as “trashing”their accommodation and potentially “high on drugs.”The receptionist claimed that the visitor “might be in danger.”

ABC News, citing a partial autopsy report obtained on October 21, disclosed that Liam had substances including cocaine, crack, benzodiazepines, and “pink cocaine”—a blend recognized as a recreational drug combining methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA—present in his system at the time of his untimely death.

Liam Payne is survived by his son Bear and his parents, alongside his sister, and his legacy continues to resonate with those who loved him.
