Exciting Updates for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4
HoYoVerse has revealed significant enhancements coming in the upcoming 3.4 update for Honkai: Star Rail. Notably, players can look forward to a dialogue skip feature as well as Enhanced Mode versions for popular characters such as Blade, Jingliu, Kafka, and Silver Wolf. Further insights into these updates will be unveiled during the 3.4 Special Program, scheduled for June 20, 2025, at 4:30 AM PT / 7:30 AM ET / 1:30 PM CET, which will also include discussions about Phainon and the Fate/stay Night crossover.
Streamlined Gameplay with Story Dialogue Skip
The new story dialogue skip option aims to enhance player experience by allowing for a swifter exploration of campaign missions. This feature includes a paragraph-based dialogue skip alongside story summaries. Players will benefit from the ability to quickly digest narrative content without missing key elements. The Story Summary will highlight the main characters involved and provide concise descriptions of the events that transpired. Additionally, players can anticipate the introduction of a Story Recap feature in version 3.6, which will allow access to cutscenes from earlier Trailblaze Missions and Companion Quests.
Visual Previews of New Features
To preview this dialogue skip functionality, HoYoVerse has released two images showcasing both the button used to skip sections of the story and an example of what the Story Summary will look like. These visual aids help set expectations for players eagerly awaiting the new features.

Character Enhancements: Enhanced Mode Features
The upcoming update will also introduce Enhanced Mode for characters such as Blade, Jingliu, Kafka, and Silver Wolf, providing players with more strategic options for gameplay. Each character will have specific enhancements to their movesets, traces, and Eidolons. Notably, details regarding Silver Wolf’s adjustments have been highlighted in the announcement: her Skill will allow the first character in the lineup to have their weaknesses implanted, aiding tactical gameplay. Furthermore, her User Banned Ultimate will now deal damage while simultaneously reducing the defense of all enemies rather than targeting just one.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently accessible on multiple platforms, including the PS5, PC, and mobile devices. Be sure to tune in for the 3.4 Special Program on June 20, 2025, to catch all the exciting updates!
