Honkai: Star Rail Introduces Anomaly Arbitration High Difficulty Mode in Update 3.6

Upcoming Features in Honkai: Star Rail’s 3.6 Update

HoYoVerse has recently provided exciting insights into the features set to debut in the forthcoming 3.6 update for Honkai: Star Rail. Among the notable additions is the Anomaly Arbitration, a challenging “high difficulty”mode. Players should be aware that access to this new mode will not be instant; it requires unlocking and will therefore be unavailable immediately upon the update’s release in the fall of 2025. Moreover, with patch 3.5 launching soon, we likely won’t see detailed information regarding this mode during the upcoming Special Program on August 2, 2025.

Unlocking Anomaly Arbitration: Requirements and Challenges

HoYoVerse elaborated on how players can gain access to Anomaly Arbitration. This mode will be secured behind three existing challenge types: Apocalyptic Shadow, Memory of Chaos, and Pure Fiction. To unlock Anomaly Arbitration, players will need to achieve at least four stars in Difficulty 4, Stage 4, and Stage 12 for each of these challenges. Completing these tasks will grant players entry to the high-stakes competition.

Understanding the Anomaly Arbitration Gameplay

Once unlocked, players will face unique gameplay mechanics associated with Anomaly Arbitration. Initially, players will form three teams that must navigate through several “trial stages.”Successfully completing these stages will allow the formation of a fourth team to tackle the final challenge. Victorious players stand to earn enticing rewards, including cosmetic upgrades such as avatar frames and items to enhance characters and Light Cones.
