Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Banners are set to introduce a tempting lineup featuring two new characters alongside several familiar faces, most notably marking the return of Dr. Ratio, who hasn’t been seen since his debut in 2022. HoYoverse is enhancing the pull with a broader assortment of returning 5-star characters, though the selection is manageable compared to the extensive array introduced in version 3.0.

Character Lineup – Castorice and Companions
The initial round of banners will debut on April 9, 2025, coinciding with the launch of version 3.2, or potentially as early as the evening of April 8, depending on your time zone. Taking center stage is the new 5-star character, Castorice, classified under the Remembrance category. Her unique ability allows her to prevent party members from being knocked out once, a particularly advantageous skill as her memosprite can absorb health points from the team to unleash significant critical damage.
- Castorice (Quantum, Remembrance)
- Acheron (Electric, Nihility)
- Fugue (Fire, Nihility)
- Jiaoqiu (Fire, Nihility)
Acheron shines in early HSR 2. X patches, known for her devastating ultimate ability that decreases enemy toughness and damage resistance. To maximize her potential, she relies on other Nihility characters to trigger her passive abilities, such as Jiaoqiu, whose ultimate creates a damage-boosting field and inflicts defensive debuffs on foes.
Fugue, a recent addition to the game’s roster, stands out by diminishing enemy toughness regardless of their elemental vulnerabilities, making her an excellent asset for characters like Firefly, Boothill, and Rappa.
The Light Cones specific to all four of these characters will also be available through separate Light Cone banners.
The banner will additionally feature the following 4-star characters:
- Gallagher (Fire, Abundance)
- Lynx (Quantum, Abundance)
- Pela (Nihility, Ice)
Character Lineup – Anaxa and Dr. Ratio
The upcoming banners also highlight Anaxa, a new 5-star character of the Erudition classification, who introduces random weaknesses to enemies while enhancing damage output based on the variety of weaknesses present. Additionally, the elusive Dr. Ratio makes his long-awaited return after a two-year hiatus.

Dr. Ratio possesses the ability to launch follow-up attacks on enemies, with increasing odds if those enemies suffer from debuffs. His ultimate further marks enemies for even more powerful follow-up assaults after any allied attacks.
Both characters will feature their exclusive Light Cones in a dedicated Light Cone banner. Notably, Dr. Ratio’s Light Cone is regarded as a prime choice for enhancing Hunt characters like Feixiao, making it a worthy target even if Dr. Ratio himself isn’t on your personal wish list.

Updates to the Standard Banner in Honkai Star Rail 3.2
In version 3.2, HoYoverse will revamp the standard banner by adding three previously limited characters to the mix.
- Blade (Wind, Destruction)
- Fu Xuan (Quantum, Preservation)
- Soul (Quantum, Hunt)
Once the new version launches, players will have the opportunity to exchange up to three characters currently featured in the standard banner for any of these newly available selections.
