Exciting Anniversary Rewards in Honkai Star Rail 3.2
In an exciting announcement during the HSR 5.2 livestream, HoYoverse unveiled the lucrative Honkai Star Rail anniversary rewards to celebrate the game’s second birthday. Beyond just a standard 10-pull, this anniversary celebration offers players a range of enticing rewards, including a free 5-star character option—either Ruan Mei or Luocha, depending on player preference. Additionally, participants can claim a total of 20 tickets, along with an automatic delivery of 1, 600 Stellar Jade and 10 Fuel directly to their HSR inboxes.
Free 5-Star Character: Ruan Mei or Luocha
At the heart of the anniversary rewards is the opportunity to acquire one of two exceptional 5-star characters via the Golden Companion Spirit. While specific details on how to obtain this item have not yet been disclosed, it is anticipated that players will redeem it through the event menu. Selecting this Spirit enables you to choose either Luocha or the highly regarded Ruan Mei, who excels in supporting break-focused teams. Despite Luocha’s initial impression as an unusual choice for a free character, given the current playstyle dynamics involving Mydei and Castorice, a solid healer could prove essential.
While Ruan Mei’s and Luocha’s unique Light Cones are not included in the giveaway, players can look forward to receiving Memory Shard items. These shards can be exchanged for a single 5-star Light Cone of your choice, either Ruan Mei’s or Luocha’s. Although the method of acquiring these Memory Shards remains unspecified, the Light Cones will be available in the Stellar Convergence shop for the duration of the update.
The Golden Companion Spirit and the associated character will be redeemable as soon as the HSR 3.2 update goes live, with availability extending until HSR 3.4.
Special Pulls for the Anniversary
Mark your calendars! HoYoverse will distribute 20 Special Passes—essential tickets for HSR’s limited banners—through a daily login event commencing on the launch day of HSR 3.2. To claim all 20 passes, players must log in consecutively for seven days. On the actual anniversary date, April 26, 2025, each player will also receive 1, 600 Stellar Jade (enough for 10 pulls) and 10 Fuel via their in-game mailbox.
This brings the total to 30 pulls; while that may not guarantee a 5-star character on limited banners, it certainly provides a good start.
Star Rail World Event: A Collaborative Experience
HoYoverse is introducing the Star Rail World event for HSR’s second anniversary. This new event promises players an engaging experience where they collaborate with NPCs to plan and host a gallery. Participants will navigate various challenges such as securing exhibits and raising funds.
Set to launch on April 9, 2025, and running until May 19, 2025, this event will reward players with a new Erudition Light Cone, The Great Cosmic Enterprise. This Light Cone is particularly beneficial for newcomers like Anaxa, as it enhances attack capabilities based on the number of weaknesses present in the enemy.
Top-Up Bonus Reset
As part of the anniversary festivities, HoYoverse will reset the top-up bonuses for HSR’s Oneiric Shard items. This means players will receive double the amount for their first purchase. However, it’s important to remember that Honkai Star Rail remains accessible without spending money. Free-to-play teams continue to function effectively in all three endgame challenge modes.
